In fact the plates are in Japan, is PcCI2iminal Brazilian who lives in Japan and it sends the same plates, so I said I can get it anytime you want .. lol, I'm more concerned with performance and SATA III wanted any effective response from Gigabyte if it will fix it

As of yet, we still can't get hold of these boards in the UK, hopefully from next week they will start to become available. I'm sure that any problems or glitches will soon be highlighted then.

Does the SATA3 problem seem to be with the AMD SB950 controller or the Marvell 9172 chip?

The problem comes with the AMD SB950, one thing that people are commenting from what I read is that the ASUS boards are the best performing and that MSI and Gigabyte need to launch a new more mature bios to correct the problem, I particularly want Gigabyte to go, the more I want this to do something about it.

As with all new things these issues can take some time to settle down but it is only by reporting them that Gigabyte can be made aware of them and correct them.

I would recommend that you contact Gigabyte Technical Support through this form: http://ggts.gigabyte.com/tech.asp?ClassID=2&Country=Brazil&SourceWeb=B2C. Don't be surprised if it takes a little while before you get a response as it can take 7-10 days to get a reply to your request.

Well would fill up this form, but as I said in my first post, bought UD7 not yet, I'm wondering if the Gigabyte will solve this problem, so I joined the forum and posted the information, Junior said it had received a new bios Gigabyte's taking the test I post here.

The only problem I have with my board is my boot time has increased dramatically. Once my PC has booted, performance is excellent but my boot time is unacceptable

The price we pay for performance.........It's been a while since I had a board for comparison purposes, but Giga boards are renowned for slow boot times
