Error boot, restart loop Gigabyte 1155 GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 P67 ATX DDR3 rev. 1.1

Hi,
I own a Gigabyte 1155 GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 P67 ATX DDR3 rev. 1.1 yesterday and has returned a problem that already once caused me no little trouble, but that was solved by itself.
The system boot with 2 sticks of ram inserted keeps rebooting loop, with only one bank regardless of which of the two, the system boots perfectly.

The Rams are DDR3 1600Mhz PC12800 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1.5V CL9 (2x4GB)

I already tried updating the bios and remove the battery for a full reset but it did not work.

I also tried to put the Rams in the adjacent channels to start without dual channel but does not work either.

Add that the mobo is under warranty and only has a month of use

now it's all over ... I disassembled everything (including cpu) reassembled and it runs without any kind of stories ... the screw slot is under the ram has problems, or ... The "upside" bronzed raising the mobo from the case is idling and the screw that holds the mobo does not want to go upward in the housing (the increase between mobo and case) even if it the first time in the second, I forced the least. .. I had to remove it to keep the thread behind the case with the pliers and unscrew the screw on the mobo

I look forward to your opinions on why it was so. and if there is no screw holding the mobo to the case can anything happen? is a center right-hand side

You can leave out a screw or two if you want, no problem there!   You can run with no screws, or as many as you want!

Sounds like you might have had a short or something before, or the motherboard mounting peg (Stand-off) that the screws go into isn't screwed in all the way, causing the board to flex or short.   You can remove that peg (Stand-off) if you want, and or leave out the screw, or try to screw it back down into the tray fully, then you might be able to use the screw properly.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you were trying to explain about the screw but I think that's kind of what you meant right?

Anyway, good to hear it's working properly for you now!! :)

I am under the same impression as Lsdmeasap in that you had a problem with one of the central standoffs/posts and the screw that was in it. Assuming that was correct it sounds like maybe the screw got crossthreaded when it was assembled and that is why you had the problem with removing it later. No problem if you want to replace it or even use the board without it. The only thing to watch if it is left out is that there will  be no support under that area of the motherboard.
