Title: new here, can someone help me?
Post by: drawoj on February 13, 2014, 11:20:07 am
Can I disable floppy disk in bios even though i don't have it on my system?
Coz im doing clean installation of win 7 64 bit and i got stuck on expanding files 83% for many hours. My ram sticks are okay, tested with windows diagnostic tools and memtest86. I'm using bootable flash drive created using windows dvd/usb tool.
Some says i have to disable floppy disk to bios to make the installation fast. But i don't see any floppy disk in bios. Btw im using uefi dual bios v. f6.

Any help?

Hi , welcome to forum,

What is your motherboard? Give us a web link on gigigate web site.

So if you do not use a floppy disk, unplug it from motherboard.

Normaly if you do not have a floppy disk connected on motherboard, the bios not detect it.

If you desire give us more infos about your situation like hardware and software :

use a speecy:
