Hey guys, just a quick question I got my K85 yesterday and it's an epic keyboard but today when I powered up my RIG the F6 key is a different colour to all the others? Do I have a defective board or is it just a glitch?
-
OK for anyone that wants to know I have figured it out, the switch for F6 the RGB has lost it's blue channel which is hugely apparent when you select Green or Red settings, when using Blue the F6 will not light up. Kind of annoying considering the Keyboard is no more than 20 hours old. :-\

Did you fix the problem ?
-
Sorry for the late reply Mike, no I never did get it fixed and have lost 4 other keys on the blue channel also the i, t and j have started doing this iiiii, jjjjjjj, tttt after only a single press.
I guess it's RMA time, for £70 I expected more to be honest.

I have the same problem but after a grand total of 5 hours.
I flashed the latest firmware using the companion application when setting up the keyboard, it notified me that there was a newer firmware available. The R key is a different colour from the rest, it wasn't when I first started using the keyboard.
Is this something that may have been caused by the firmware? 5 hours is not what I would consider a reasonable failure time.
It's most apparent when the keyboard is displaying green, the R key shows red.
I would presume the key's green led has failed, if I choose green for the led colour then all the other keys are way brighter than the R key.
I took another shot with the keycap off (removed with a proper cap remover)
Very disappointing.

Well, this just keeps getting better and better, next day...now the K colours are wrong...
-
K seems to be missing the blue LED, R missing the green.

Well, keyboard sent back back after 2 days, thx for the fun, opted for the Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro L instead, looks vastly superior on paper and the reviews I've watched are impressed.

The design flaw seems to be rather with the IOS itself: it disables the on screen keyboard when an external blue tooth keyboardpage tuner is connected. Foresocre has a feature called force virtual keyboard, which, when turned on, will bring up the virtual keyboard. I hope that iGigbook will consider implementing the same feature in the next update.
