Title: GA-MA790XT-UD4P BIOS bugs
Post by: electron1948 on August 26, 2016, 11:31:20 am
Been using this MB for some years, recently found bugs in three BIOS versions:

In V6 the F12' Boot Options' did not work (just got nasty graphics.)
Updated to Bios V8.  F12 works but the PC will not shut down and switch off with either Win10 or Linux.
Updated to V9 (Beta), PC will not boot, freezes at 'Verifying DMI.......'

Any suggestions please?  Are there any known bugs in V7?

Contrary to many comments I have been happily using @BIOS under Win10 and used that for all updates but I used QFlash to get back to V8 -  is @BIOS my problem?

Problem solved.

It seems that as others have said: @BIOS is not reliable/does not work - at least under Windows 10.

BIOS V8 reloaded using QFlash and all works properly.
