Title: Gigabyte Brix No Power - Just Flashing Light
Post by: anagrama on November 13, 2016, 02:16:59 pm
I have a Gigabyte Brix model GB-BXi3-4010 which came as a barebones unit. I have sourced 4gb of ram which is low voltage and on the Gigabyte support list. I havent got a ssd for it yet as i dont want to waste money on one if I cannot get this to work. The only part I dont have is the original power supply, i have however sourced a third party laptop charger with the correct voltage. Unfortunately ive been unable to find an authentic adaptor.

When I plug the Brix into the mains all I get is a blue flashing light on the power button that flashes every few seconds, nothing else happens.

Does this sound like a common fault, an issue with the power adapter or is dead? I dont want to put to much money into it if all im going to have is a still none working Brix at the end of it.

Any help on this subject would be a great help, thanks.
