Title: gigabyte gtx 1070 xtreme gaming bios update
Post by: M4lolli on November 29, 2016, 12:47:48 pm

Hi everyone,

I just installed my new vga, after installing all drivers/software i saw that my current bios version is F2 and there's the new version F3 relesed 1 month ago in the gigabyte website ( http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5921&dl=1&RWD=0#bios ).
When i download/extract the zip file, there are 2 folders: N1070X8DP.F3 and N1070X8DH.F3. Which one do i have to install and how?

If your VGA is running well is not a good idea do flash the BIOS.
You have to see what BIOS is compatible with your VGA memory vendor. That's the right BIOS to update.
Or, like I did, send a email to gigabyte support to check if the BIOS in the site is compatible with your VGA.
