Hello,
I just purchased the A8-5557M. I installed a SATA 120GB SSD and 8GB RAM. I installed Windows 10 Pro and it was working fine. I should have left well enough alone, but I upgraded the BIOS to F3. I don't even remember what my reason for doing that was now.
After the upgrade, the PC would not boot into Windows. It kept trying to do an automatic repair every time it booted. So, I thought I would just do a fresh install of Windows. That didn't work.
The PC recognizes the USB drive, but will not boot from it to do the install. It accesses the USB drive and then moves on and tries to boot from the SSD with the corrupt OS on it.
Is there anything I can do to downgrade the BIOS version or does anyone have any other ideas for me to try?
