GA-H55M-S2 v1.3, F4 BIOS version (latest)
ocz3p1600c6lv4gk 2 dimms, 2gb each
The issue I have is that I cannot get them to work at 1600 mhz.
And as far as I know when you stars the computer it tells you that the ram is in dual channel.
How can I make my ram work at theyr normal 1600mhz speed and put them in dual channel (if they are not)?

Hi and welcome.
If the memory modules are of good enough quality you will bew able to manually enter the timings and voltage to get them working at 1600mhz. You can find the place to do this in the MIT section of the BIOS.
Make sure that they are in the correct slots which are normally the white ones first. You will need to increase the voltage to get them to run at 1600mhz properly.
If you still have any problem post the details of the RAM and we will see what we can do.

After many hours of browsing forums I forgot to say "Hi", hope it is not too late :)
The motherboard has only 2 slots for ram :)
The only place I could find the specs for the rams is here (http://"http://www.comx-computers.co.za/OCZ3P1600C6LV4GK-OCZ-1600MHz-DDR3-4GB-Platinum-Low-Voltage-Dual-Channel-2x2GB-Me-Information-Price-Buy-Cheap-p-37819.php").
What I know for sure is that they are DDR3, run at 1600mhz and on the actual dimm it says @ 1.65v
And also, how can I make them run in dual channel mode?

My bad, I should have checked exactly which motherboard you were talking about, sorry. As you say there is no option for placing the sticks. They shoul;d be in Dual Channel mode by default.
Your link wasn't working but you should be able to find the details at OCZ's website. I am just unsure if they are listed as compatible with yuour motherboard. Did you check before purchase ?
Just input the timings (ie 9-9-9-24) and the voltage (1.65v) and hopefully they should run at the correct speed if you input that too.

This is what you need to change to run the memory at 1600Mhz, set this to x12. If you do not have x12 option it may be due to your CPU, what CPU are you using anyway? Or, you could also try using XMP if you want, and your memory has this programmed, it's the setting above the one circled below.

@ dark mantis, I have no idea about timings and the voltage output that i can select has no 1.65. I can choose either 1.640 or 1.660.
The system memory multiplier is 10, so the ram runs at 1333. Maybe the voltage options are limited due to that.
Have to read some OC guides to work out the desired timings.

With XMP I guess you are referring to Extreme Memory Profile. From what I know that will OC the memory over they'r normal values. (more than 1.65v, and no idea about timings :) )
So basically I wish to run the memory at 1600Mhz without crossing the 1.65v threshold and not going over the standard limit of timings, if timings are an issue of course.
I am guessing by changing the voltage from auto to a higher voltage, 1.64 (or 1.65 if this can be done), the system memory multiplier will boos the speed more than 1333.

Don't worry that it is red, just set the voltage to 1.66v which will give you the correct voltage for your memory and then go where Lsdmeasap highlighted and change the value to x12. That should give you the running memory at 1600mhz. Make sure that you also alter your QPI/Vtt voltage to 1.2v so as to maintain the 0.5v differential. This is important.

You should be able to set x12 memory multi if you want, voltages do not matter for that. have you never loaded optimized defaults since installing this CPU? If not, do it now, then save/apply/reboot BACK to the BIOS and set your SATA settings again before loading windows. Then you should be able to set x12 multi, if not the board is limiting the multi not the CPU as that CPU can do many more memory multi's above x10. I'm downloading your BIOS now to have a look, it could just be the board itself limiting that.
If it is, then you will have to run at least 160 Bclk to run the memory at 1600Mhz.
As for ram voltage to 1.64 or 1.66, it will be a little less anyway, so keep in mind 1.64 may be only 1.62-1.63

Nope, it's not the board, I checked the latest BIOS and it allows up to x18 as I suspected, so you need to load optimized and reboot I think! You are using the latest BIOS correct? If not please update using Qflash or DOS, then do the optimized default dance and see if you have more than x10 after that.
I had 655K CPU, which is the same except unlocked CPU multi, and it has x6-18 memory multi
Or, it could be this if optimized defaults still do not give you higher than x10, is your CPU and ES version? If you are not sure, please post a screenshot of the main tab of CPU-z

After much consideration I decided to make the memory improvement.

In the motherboard manual it is stated that 16gb or ram are supported, logical conclusion is that 4gb dimms are supported per slot.
So I am wondering if the memory that I chose will be fine with my motherboard.
