Title: GA-Z77-DS3H - Where is the Wake on Lan (WOL) option in BIOS?

I cant find this under power management or anywhere else. I cant find PXE, PCI devised, Magic Packet, WOL, Wake on LAN.
I have the network adapter setup correctly, but still not functioning. Anyone know how to enable this? Thanks.
I'm on the latest BIOS of F8.

Hi and welcome.

Well first make sure that you have enabled the PCH LAN controller in the BIOS and then you should find the Wake On LAN function under Power Management.

If it isn't there it has probably been missed out of this version and so you can either ask GGTS to alter it or use a different BIOS version.

you may go to device manager to check you lan property\power managment and make sure the it allows to wake up by magic packet. sometimes the default is not allow to wake up.

There is an option to basically turn the LAN on or Off in the BIOS. It is on, yet there is no option in Power Management.
Interestingly enough, in the BIOS Manual, page 46, the peripherals page shows a "LAN PXE Boot Option ROM" which does not exist in the latest BIOS. I'm not sure if this is the option that enables it or what that is for. Not sure why it was removed either. I will contact tech support to see what they can do with the BIOS to make this an option. Thanks for the direction.

I just had the same problem on the same MoBo. Do you have a fix for it?

Btw, I'm using the onboard NIC, not a separate one.

My bad, it's working fine. I was calling mc-wol with the MAC address in the wrong format.

My Z77-D3H doesn't have an explicit WOL option in the BIOS. However, WOL works fine on it.
