GA-Z77X-UD3H wont boot to bios no proper error code present.

Hi I just built a new computer with a GA-Z77X-UD3H mother board with an I7-3770k cpu. That will not boot to the biios and doesn't seem to want to give me a proper error code.  I currently have it sitting on it's box on it's bag with cpu, and 1 stick of ram and psu hooked to it.

My problem is it it won't boot up and doesn't show me a proper error code. The light on the power switch  button is on. But when I hit it to power up, it has a 1 second power up in which nothing shows on screen the m and b bios lights flash along with the error leds. Though the error led's don't resemble anything. Possibly a 3 or 6 but it's only there for a second and then it's off.

I've even tried clearing the cmos to get it the bios working but again nothing really happens. Just a blip of power then it stops.  I don't think it's my power supply as the fan starts up until the mother board stops.

I'm super confused as to what to do to get this running. Is this a common problem or is my mother board a dud?

Hi and welcome to gigabyte forums. May i ask what PSU you are using make and model, what ram you are using also would be useful and what type and size of hard drive. Also if your motherboard came with the F7 bios it might be that the bios doesnt support that cpu. Is the CPU properly seated?
