Boot drive (Plextor M5P SSD 128Gb) disappears at boot
« on: August 11, 2013, 01:49:04 pm »
Many times, my boot drive disappears from the BIOS, and hence prevents the PC from booting to Windows.  It is not regular but I can't find a pattern when it would happen.  They're attached to the Intel ports, and even tried moving them to other ports and swapping cables, sometimes its fine, sometimes they don't appear.  I can't use the Marvell ports since I got this board for the eSATA ports, w/c share w/ the internal SATA ports.

Currently at the latest F7, but it happened since the I got the board w/ F5.

Same problem with different ssd. In my case I'm almost sure that the SSD disappear after I leave the PC turned off for around 10 / 12 hours.
Indeed, it always happens to me in the morning, after turning off the PC at night.
