Accidentally broke MB Capacitor whilst installing a new Graphics Card

I can see the pins still where it is, just that the 'cap' came off, is it possible to align it up and reinsert the cap so the connection inside is remade, or would it need a completely new capacitor? Or because of its location, is it able to be ran generally ok?

Would I be able to send it in to be repaired? (I would understand if I need to pay for it as it was accidental damage)

I bought it earlier this year (9th April) and I'm a student from the UK, so I really don't want to have to buy another motherboard.

It's a GIGAByte GA-Z77MX-D3H Z77 and here are two photographs illustrating the problem.

No, generally you can't just put the cap back on a broken capacitor.
I wouldn't try running the board as it is.
Because of the location of the capacitor it should be possible to replace it quite easily if you are good at soldering. Make sure you check the rating of the capacitor so you can replace with same type. You can get capacitors from Maplins (in the UK) or from on-line sellers.
If you are not good at soldering or feel you are unable to repair the board yourself then contact GTTS here: http://ggts.gigabyte.com/tech.asp?ClassID=2&Country=U.K.&SourceWeb=B2C explaining the situation as they may be able to do the repair for you. If they can theree will be some cost involved but it is usually much cheaper than buying a new board.
