Logitech Unifying receiver prevents boot

Logitech Unifying receiver prevents boot
« on: September 17, 2013, 10:50:23 pm »
Hello:
Just purchased Logitech Performance MX mouse with Unifying receiver.  If I plug the receiver in when the PC is running, everything is fine.  If it's plugged in when I start the PC, it hangs at the Logo screen.  Bios and all drivers are up to date.  It happens regardless of which USB port I use.  Bios is set to enable USB mouse, enable legacy USB, halt for no errors.

Any suggestions?
