Looking to upgrade system.
« on: October 18, 2014, 11:09:05 am »
Hey all,

It's time to upgrade my system now and would really appreciate some advice from my fellow Gigabyte users.

I am not a hard-core gamer but I do buy such games as "Call of duty" and the like and play the single player missions. I would like the best eye candy I could get from my system while playing the above mentioned game(s).

I am using a BenQ GL2460HM 24-inch Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 to play games via HDMI.

I was thinking of Two upgrade paths, Just the Graphics card or the whole system.

If just the graphics card needs to be upgraded then I was thinking of the R9 280 or the R9 290 or any other suggestions. (AMD or NVidia)

If it was the whole system I was thinking about I need advice..... (AMD or Intel)

Kind Regards,

Andrew
