Gigabyte Ga-Z77-D3H problem
« on: January 25, 2015, 03:14:03 pm »
I bought new graphic card on Friday and now i have problems with computer most likely with motherboard Ga-Z77-D3H or with power supply(550 watt Thermaltake).

Also i have to mention my graphic card is Gigabyte 7950 and it didn't work first time i inserted in computer, also i used adapter because my LCD have only VGA output, but i doubt graphic card didn't work because of power supply.

Also not computer is restarting all the time and monitor is blank, fans are working and this is this.

Anyone?

Greetings,
Without looking at your hardware specifically, the following may help:

-Ensure the 12v rail on your PSU has at least the minimum number of amps required for the card
-Ensure you have power (PCIe) connected to the card if required
-Ensure the system BIOS is configured for external card as first display device.  If your BIOS has different Gen_ settings for video, you can experiment with these also.  You can use the on-board video to get to these settings if needed.

If all fails, confirm you are running the latest BIOS available for your board.

I also think PSU isn't problem after all i changed PSU with better one of Corsair(600W-previous Thermaltake 550W).

And still the same problem, probably motherboard gone to hell i guess.

If there is someone with ideas then please hurry!

And thanks!
