Hi all, just joined.
unfortunately its because i have issues.Im running an fx9590 on an fx990 ud5 motherboard.and while all is well when everything is at stock speeds..my pc crashes every time i touch anything to do with overclocking.cpu multiplier, ram speed, in fact anything.my specs are as below:

fx9590
990fx ud5 mb
16gb ddr3 (1866 clocked with xmp setting) corsair vengeance pro
gtx 770

i have always been pro gigabyte, until now.very disappointed with the limitations of this board.maybe its the fact that my chip will only run with with a beta bios or that the 9590 is already a factory overclocked lower grade processor?.i have no idea.i know my chip will run at 5ghz (even with the thermals and current air cooling).any help greatly appreciated.thanks

well, found my solution as no advice given here.revert bios to Fb.chip @ 4ghz but at least it completes the windows assessment and is stable.this chip was never designed to go with this board.having to release a beta bios to recognise it says it all really.time to start saving for that crossfire formula z........
