Hello,

I recently bought a Brix S i3 5010u and a few components to build a little media machine running Windows 7.

The components are as follows:

Crucial 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL11 SODIMM 204pin 1.35V/1.5V Single Ranked
Kingston SSDNow 60GB mSATA 6Gbps SSD
HGST Travelstar 1TB 2.5" Hard Drive

I earthed myself, and plugged all the bits in, but powering up the Brix does nothing. All I get is a black screen. I can tap either Del or F12 on the keyboard, and still nothing appears. I would have expected at least a Gigabyte logo during the initial boot.

I've tried both an HDMI 1.4 cable, and a mini display port to HDMI cable, neither work, so I can't see the BIOS being pre-programmed to only work off of one display feed at first.

The board is really tight fighting, so I can't see an obvious way to get to the other side to take off the CMOS battery.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm likely just going to send the machine back, because I'm at a bit of a loss now.
