I downloaded the @BIOS utility to update my BIOS so I can boot from USB. But when I try to run the program it says that my product isn't a gigabyte product and will abort! Has anyone else had this problem? My motherboard is a GA-7VTXH+. It's older so I checked the specs on Gigabyte website and it says under BIOS that my MOBO is compatible with @BIOS. I'm stumped on what to do. Any ideas would be outstanding!

Hi,

although the @BIOS utility is Gigabyte software it isn't very good. It is a better option to flash BIOS from the QFlash utility. Because yours is an older mobo I think you will need to have a Floppy Drive rather than a USB stick. Check out your mobo manual pages 52 - 55 (English Version) which you can download from here if you have misplaced it. http://www.giga-byte.co.uk/Support/Motherboard/Manual_Model.aspx?ProductID=1313&ver=#anchor_os

Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.
