Gigabyte brix pro i7 not keeping time
« on: June 04, 2016, 08:42:49 am »
Hi

I've owned a gigabyte brix for over a year and since the day I have had it it never keeps time and date when switched off. Is there a way to check the cmos battery and also which one do I purchase if I need it replaced.

Running Windows 7 professional.

ok, Ive noticed that the cmos battery is atteched by a plug. Is there a specific one I should purchase. All the ones I see online are for HP, Acer, Dell etc. Will all of these fit the motherboard or is there a specific one I should purchase. Any help appreciated.

You can buy them almost any where. What country are you in? One other thing what motherboard do you have?
