P25 V2 stutters after 30-45 mins
« on: December 01, 2015, 12:49:37 am »
Hi All
Im hoping to resolve an issue which i have with my P25 V2. Its basically done this from day one. After 30-45 mins of playing any game the laptop goes from running smooth to a hugh drop in framerate, to the point where it becomes unplayable. There are no antivirus running and i have tried different nvidia driver versions. So far nothing makes a difference. I have noticed that the laptop is getting hot, the temp reaches 60 deg. The laptop is standard except for the driver which have been updated. Is there anyone else with the same model who is experiencing the same problem? Has anyone been able to resolve this issue?
thanks

I used to have a laptop that overheat when playing game. The easiest solution is to buy a cooling pad for your laptop (just about $15)

Thanks for your reply, i was thinking about that. It seems to be a fault with the laptop, surely it should last longer than 45 mins!

I think because you have used the laptop for a long time so the performance of it dropped. Another solution is you can clean the dust inside your laptop.

I repair laptops/desktops for a living this one is always in its case when not being used. Ive seen so many laptops with overheating problems due to dust but this one has minimal dust if any. Ill contact gigabyte to see what they say. It would bave been good to hear from others with the same model to see if they are having the same issues.
