GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (error code - bf)
« on: January 09, 2016, 06:18:27 pm »
Hello there,

First post so please let me know if there is something more you need to know :-)... I recently brought a GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 which is working perfectly - it just keeps showing an error code (think its bf or 6f), and u just cant figure what that means. Was lurking around at other forums and some says it might be CPU or ram (tried with XMP and without - same results)

But since the PC works perfectly and i can play games for long periods of time (FC4 full ultra, and more) it could just be a sign of everything is working :)?

Hope you can help me out :)!

Both those codes are Reserved codes. What they mean I can't tell you that. But if everything is work fine I wouldn't worry about till something happens

Solved - disabled thunderbolt in bios :)... Guess it was just a code for "all is well" with thunderbolt enabled - now showing A0 :)
