Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R: Which BIOS rev version i should use

Hi all,

I intend to format my com, and I'd like to update my bios as i hear it could help improve stability and performance.I'm very new to BIOS updating, Infact i've never touched it till yesterday. I've watched several youtube tutorials and read a bunch of forum post...but now I've found conflicting points on which Rev i should download. Some say that rev 1.0 and others say rev 1.7. Plus some of the 1.7 files are the same size as the 1.1 files, which only added more to my confusion. So i am stumped at which revision and version i should download that could further enhance my motherboard. I'm running a windows 7 64bit, any help would greatly be appreciated.

You can do the latest bios which is FK is you need to. My advice is if it running good don't update it but if you have to format a USB to fat32 and put the bios you want on it. when you start computer with USB drive in tap delete key until bios comes up. Pick Q
flash mine is the F8 key. and let it update. Do not turn off computer until instructed. You will have to reset all bios settings but I had never had a gigabyte bios flash wrong.  You will be in bios when you hit the delete key there on right side it will tell you which key Q flash is.

When you say latest version of bios, you meant the rev 1.7 FK version right?..just to be sure

The rev version should be printed on you'r mobo,  probably on one corner.  Download and install the rev version that matches you'r mobo.
