GA-Z68AP-D3 rev. 2.0 spread spectrum setting
« on: February 23, 2016, 09:10:30 am »
Hello. I recently updated my mobo to uefi bios (ua9) from normal bios version FD. Everything works fine but i can't find anywhere spread spectrum option to disable. In normal bios combination ctrl+f1 shows spread spectrum option but in uefi it doesn't work any more. Is there any way to fix this ?

Why do you want to disable it. You having problems? They might have taken that away because they might feel you don't need it.

Cause i have stuttering in many games even with vsync and spread spectrum is widely known reason why it is happening.

Sorry can't help you there because the book doesn't cover it is UEFI mode. That was a late add-on and the bios has change a lot. Here you will have choose between fast boot of good gaming if it isn't in there any more. They are not going to fix it.

The can try Tweak-town and see what they have on bios. http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/28441-gigabyte-latest-beta-bios.html
