New Build Problem with GA-F2A68HM-H
« on: April 16, 2016, 08:00:20 pm »
I just purchased 2 MBs GA-F2A68HM-H  rev 1.1 for my AMD X4 845 CPU.  Both computers are identical with 2 Seagate SATA III HDD, Crucial 2x8 CT2KIT10246BA160B memory, and EVGA GT 610 video adapter.  No matter what I do, I cannot get the MBs to post.  I am only left with blank screens on my Samsung SD 300 monitors using VGA cable.  I have contacted EVGA and we tried several options with no results.  According to what I have read online, my MBs will probably need a BIOS update since the AMD CPU are new and were introduced in February.  The BIOS update was introduced in late January.  How can I get the BIOS to update when the MB does not post.  I have tried to reach Gigabyte support and no one has responded to my requests.  I need some help here.

You need BIOS version FC.

You can purchase an APU that works with an earlier BIOS version to flash the BIOS.

You can also have the BIOS flashed by someone else. You may want to have a shop do it or ship the motherboard to Gigabyte for service.
