GTX 1070 G1 Gaming, Flashed Wrong Bios, Black Screen
« on: August 08, 2016, 08:56:05 pm »
Hey everyone ! 2 Hours after updating my GPU BIOS to F11 everything was ok, but when I shut down my PC and decided to turn it on 1 hour later my GPU wasnt displaying anything, Im always getting a black screen.Im letting you know that all the PC parts are NEW. I switched to my integrated graphics card in order to flash my GPU back to F1 but im still getting the same black screen over and over again.I also tried to re-install the drivers but nothing worked.
Before having any problems in the Xtreme Gaming software the bios was displayed as F1, now it says Unknown.
Id really appreciate your help.
Thanks !

If your BIOS was F1, you could not have done the update for F11 version. The F11 BIOS is only for VGAs starting with BIOS F10.
Making the wrong update, you probably compromised the integrity of your VGA. I think only an RMA will solve now :(

Is there any way to see from the serial number or some other identification what the main bios was? (F1 or F10) I have the same black screen problem and have no idea if my bios was F1 or F10.

The new version of the Xtreme Gaming Engine (1.07) has a option for BIOS update.
There you can see what is your BIOS number and if your VGA is update.
