GTX 1070 G1 Gaming iddle temperature, is it normal?

Hello I have this card and when Im using my pc for just surfing the net GPU temps are about 50 celcius(fan speed 20 percent at auto control)... When Im playing games temps wont go past 66. Is that ok? Thanks in advance!!

It depends on the room temperature. Here is a test:

In the test, the idle temperature is 37 °C when the fan is OFF. So as you can see, your idle temperature really high, under gaming your 66 °C is fine. Are you sure that your G1 is in idle mode? In idle mode the gpu clock is reduced to 200-250mhz. The other devices are fine? For example what is your idle motherboard temperature?

Thanks for the answer!! CPU TEMPS (I5 4690k OC at 4.4) are at 40 when just surfing. HDD are at 30.

Ok, I changed in nvdia control panel power management mode from maximum performance to optimal power and now the clocks are down on iddle and temps at 41
