Hi
Recently i'm trying to set up a desk Top with the following parts:
CPU: AMD FX 8370 4.3GHz 16MB AM3+
MoBo: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 R5 AM3+
RAM: Corsair 16GB (2X8)Kit 1600MHz  DDR3.

But reading some reviews i found that this RAM is not working correctly with the system (Motherboard) and the maximum speed that it is accompliced is 1333MHz.
My question to you is, will i have problem with this memory kit and if yes what do you recommend.

Thanks

Hi there,

not sure what reviews you have been reading but, this motherboard, with your chosen CPU should run the RAM at 1600Mhz.

You may find that it defaults to 1333Mhz when you first start it up but, you should then be able to manually alter the timings in BIOS to get the RAM running correctly.

Vengeance Pro Series — 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 DRAM 1600MHz C9 Memory Kit (CMY16GX3M2A1600C9)

In this example, if you click on the Tech Specs Tab in the link you will see the ratings for the memory are:
SPD Speed: 1333MHz

SPD (Serial Presence Detect) is what the memory runs at in lieu of setting the rated memory parameters in the BIOS.

Your motherboard features XMP which by default is [Disabled]. Enabling it will set the memory to rated parameters. (see page 38 of manual)

Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.)
Allows the BIOS to read the SPD data on XMP memory module(s) to enhance memory performance when enabled.
Disabled Disables this function. (Default)
Profile1 Uses Profile 1 settings.
Profile2 (Note 2) Uses Profile 2 settings.
