How to: overclock with easytune + profile triggering (GA-X58A-UD7)

Hi there fellow Gigabyte users. I wanted to ask for some help on setting up Easytune right.
I have a GA-X58A-UD7 board that has an X5650 CPU on it, stock speed is 2.66Ghz.
I have succesfully overclocked it to 4.0Ghz on a 200FSB, but most of the time I don't need 12 threads pushing 4G's. So what I do is jump into the BIOS, lower the multiplier to its lowest setting, and the same for the Vcore too. That way I can save on everything: heat, noise, endurance, electricity (although that would be the smallest argument :P )

What I want to achieve, is to have Easytune bump the multi and vcore up again when I want it to. Problem is I can't get it to work that way. So for starters: do I need to have the settings set to AUTO in bios to allow Easytune to change it ?
