GA-Z270-HD3P: VT-x support

GA-Z270-HD3P: VT-x support
« on: April 26, 2017, 10:18:01 pm »
Hi all,
I'm now looking for a motherboard for Intel i5 7600. I thought GA-Z270-HD3P may be a good choice because of the capabilities. I looked through the available manual and I didn't find any information about how to enable VT-x. There is only an option for VT-d. The latter perhaps doesn't make sense without the former, but still I wonder whether VT-x is properly supported on that board.
Can anyone who has Z270-HD3P confirm that VT-x works? E.g. VirtualBox doesn't complain?
Since the option seems to be missing in setup utility (or at least in the manual), does it mean VT-x is enabled by default and can't be disabled?

Hello,

Some of the option are enabled by default in BIOS. If your CPU does support the VT-x feature, you should be able to get it works.
