Memristors - Never heard of them?
« on: September 02, 2010, 05:05:04 pm »
An interesting article on the BBC website regarding Memristors. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-11165087

If you've never heard of these you might like to do some research as they could be the new direction of PC memory/CPU hardware.

"Memristor memory chips promise to run at least 10 times faster and use 10 times less power than an equivalent Flash memory chip,"
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

very interesting absic. I had heard of them before but only by name, I can't say I knew any more about them than that. Well I have put in my order for a 64 Petabyte card just to replace my USB pendrive. Should do for starters  ;)

I wouldn't jump in just yet. Think about the issues with SATA 3!!  :o
