Hi, andyr,
I had a 775 socket replaced by the good chaps and chapesses about 2 weeks ago,
Great guys Kiss, only cost me £10 + p7p, Hope your lucky too.
I caught my finger nail under the socket while taking out the cpu,
Doh, and my stomach turned, churned Cry
I'm sure they will help you,
Fingers crossed for you,
Cheers

Hi Andyr,

did you manage to sort this yet?  It's not actually covered on the warranty, bit Gigabyte do normally help with that any way Smiley

you'll need to email your serial number and contact details to returns@gbt-tech.co.uk and they'll send you an RMA number.

Hope that helps!

I sent the board back last week and i called today for an update , i was told they couldn't repair my board and were sending me a replacement that should be with them on Friday so to me early next week  Smiley
Count myself very lucky as they could of refushed me point blank , i think there have been a few 1366 sockets borked though across all makes due to the size and ammount of pins, first socket type i have had an issue with and hope its the last  Shocked

Excellent service by Gigabyte, first giga board for me and think the service is second to none
