ok , the psu 8 pin connector is different that the graphic cadr one, so I am sure that is in the right slot .
If I put only the motherboard with the cpu on the test is the same thing , nothing happens when i try to power up.
I am giving up and sending back the motherboard to replace it.Hope is not the CPU that has a problem. ;D
Thank you all for your fast response and help.

hi , I've checked the pins on the motherboard and I didn't see any one of them to be bend or not in the right place, ..........The marks on the CPU are in th right place I think I am going to send the motheerboard back.

Can you post a couple of high quality macro images of the pins because I have heard so many times ion the past that "the pins are fine" only to find one or more bent ones in the photos.

That doesn't look bad, but there is a section that I'm not sure about, can you post a clearer image if you still have the board unboxed?  If so, don't zoom in so close, and use Macro setting if your camera has it (Little flower)

This corner is the one that concerned me, and it's still not very easy to properly see these pins.  It's the corner by where the main part of the bracket is, by the capacitors, I believe this is the top left corner

Anyway, if they are bent they'll find em and let you know if they send any notes back with a board (Maybe, sometimes they just fix or replace and don't give any notes)

I really can't tell for sure from the photos as they aren't clear enough but I don't think there are any bent pins there. Please let us know what happens.

Great to hear you are back in business!!

Did Gigabyte replace it, or the store you bought from?  If Gigabyte, did they include a note or let you know via email what the issues with the old board was?

I also think that the macro option would be better. I think it is funny that it has a flower icon but actually it is quite reasonable because most people use the macro option to shoot photos of flowers and so I do. To be honest whenever I receive serenata flowers in uk I like them so much that I always try to make macro shots but I am not that talented.
