Does anyone know if the GA-X58A-UD3R will drive external speakers directly from the backpanel connectors?

Im sure they would have to be active ie: self powered/amplified.

I think that passive speakers as long as they were small would work but they would be pathetic to listen to. Get some active speakers as you can pick them up quite cheaply if the quality isn't too much of a consideration.
