GA-78LMT-S2P adding a second hard drive ?

this may be a stupid question but what i think is right doesnt seem to be working i hav a computer with a gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P hotherboard and want to add a second 500 gb hard drive its the exact same size and model as the one allready in there just need more space on my couputer so iv added it in connected it up to the port i think is right and it doest seem to be comming up in my computer as another drive any ideas? have i got to do somthing in the bios?

Hi Ryan,

if it's a new hard drive you'll  probably need to initialise and format it before Windows will see it. You'll need to do this under the Disk Management section of Windows.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.
