Dear GIGABYTE ,
You have delivered a very good hardware (except remote), but software, let's say is not that good.
Do you have in plans delivering update?
I have some bugs (maybe they came from my lack of knowledge), that I have discovered and of course a little wishlist.

Let's start from bugs (very anoying one):
1) capture video / recording - doesn't work for Digital TV. For analogue works like a charm, but for DVB-T the vivoTV software just cannot create file neither in ps nor in ts format. Any fix for that?
2) EPG does not work in my country. Other freeware programs are able to show schedule, but vivoTV simply shows some rectangles in place of letters.

Wishlist:
1) PanScan - I have some programs that are transmitted 4:3 with black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. So it looks like 16:9 but in fact it is 4:3.
2) Ability to modify Channel List and make new order of channels
3) Ability to control teletext from remote or main screen and not only from settings menu.
4) Ability to manual add channels

That's all for now Smiley
I hope someone will respond.
Thanks GIGABYTE Smiley

Ahhh. yeah .. most important question.
Do you have in plans releasing update?

Hi

i don't know if this is the right place to do this, but i have tried everything. i even RTFM...

i cannot get the remote for the Gigabyte U8300 USB 2.0 Hybrid TV Dongle to work on windows 7, i have tried laptops with ultimate 32-bit, and home premium 64-bit, i did install the software and drivers as well as the remote control's program, as it did not install when the app did. i even re downloaded the drivers and changed the batteries. The dongle works, i can watch tv on both laptops but i cant do a single thing with the remote.

if there is anybody that can help me i would really appreciate it greatly

Hi and welcome.

That is the sort of thing I was referring to earlier when I said these TV dongles always seem to be troublesome in one way or another. I have not tried one make yet that didn't give some problems. I am not familair with this one in particular as we don't get a chance to even see the peripherals but it sounds like it is either a faulty remote or the control needs tuning to the receiver.
