Certainly looks the business! From what I have already read about it we should see some great benchmarks come off it too. Cool

Well done gigabyte, really nice board, great performing and a good price too.  Hope to see the OC line continued into future platforms/sockets.

It does look awesome doesn't it?  Grin

Not sure why the shorted the NB heatsink from the memory side?   I can see why maybe shorten it on the CPU socket side, but nothing goes between the memory and NB so not sure why they did that.   I think it looks a little cheaper now with that bare metal sticking out under the NB  Sad

Yes I hadn't noticed but now you mention it I would agree. Definitely looks wrong. They appear to have dulled down the orange too unless it is just the photo.

I think the dulled down orange is just the photo is all, that or it has been brightened in all other photo's?

NB definitely doesn't look as nice with that metal showing, they could have at least extended it out on the memory side.   I'll try to see if I can find out why they choose to do that.

Not sure what you mean?   It sticks out like a sore thumb to me from every angle.  Undecided

If you enlarge the first two pictures at the start of this thread you will be able to see it there. Just a bit darker and not so easy to see. I think it was painted black originally.

Ohh now I get what you meant.   Ya, I think it's always been there, just not black now.

Hopefully that will be black in the full final retail product, now that you mention and show me that I bet it probably will be and this is just pre-release Rev. 1.0

Let's hope so because it does look cheap and nasty.
