GA-H67A-UD3H DVI SLOT
« on: March 09, 2011, 01:56:42 am »
I RECENT BOUGHT THE CAPTIONED M/B BUT HAVE FOUND THAT THE DVI PORT DOES NOT WORK. IF I USE THE REGULAR VGA SLOT, ALL'S FINE, BUT WHEN I BOOT UP USING THE DVI, THE SYSTEM BLANKS OUT AFTER THE INITIAL POST WITH NO VIDEO BEING SHOWN. IF I UNPLUG THE DVI AND PLUG IN THE VGA CABLE, IT WORKS FINE.  WHAT CAN I DO TO ACTIVATE THE DVI?

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte forum.

Please do stop shouting (using capitals) as it makes it harder to read.

When using the DVI are you using an adapter on the port ?

Can you give a brief run down of your system please ?

Hi there,

Sorry about the caps thing.  Just forgot to turn it off.

Information on my system is as follows:-

- Intel I5 3.1mhz processor
- 8gb memory
- OS - Windows 7 Ultimate
- 2 CD Rom burners
- 2 Blue Ray Burners (These don't work, and the system won't boot if i connect them via a Star Tech Sata/Ide PCI Controller Card)
- Logitech MX5000 wireless keyboard and mouse
- Logitech C910 Webcam
- 22" I-Inc Widescreen monitor

No, I am not using an adapter for the cable connection.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi

Are you still running the system with the SATA/IDE adapter installed ? If so why ?

Have you installed all the latest drivers for the board ?

Have you used the latest drivers for the graphics ?
