I am trying to boot into dos from a USB thumb drive. Which device do i select in the bios to do this? I've tried USB-HDD USB ZIP but neither works. Is there something I am doing wrong or does this board not allow boot from a USB thumb drive ? Thanks for your assistance..

Do nothing in the BIOS, I mean set your 1, 2, 3 boot order back to what you normally use (Like HDD, nothing, nothing)

Then in Integrated Peripherals be sure you have Legacu USB and USB Storage enabled, then leave the USB Stick connected and reboot.

On reboot hit F12 at startup for the boot menu, on the boot menu choose HDD+ and then on the next screen choose your USB Stick by name

If you follow Lsdmeasap's advice and still have problems try another USB drive preferably smallish as sometimes they are just not recognised.

Great! Often it is something small but it can be a headache until you discover it. Wink
