Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

I expect that the problem is that you haven't installed the full software package that came with the keyboard. All Windows has installed automatically is the necessary drivers. Either use the supplied CD or go to the manufacturer's website and download and install the full package.

No the website doesn't seem to recognise the model number even though it lists it under the search mode.

Didn't the keyboard come with a driver CD ?

No, so this is the problem... the website also don't have any driver related to this keyboard... so what can i do so that i can use the multimedia functions ? if the multimedia functions is not working then what is the point to this multimedia keyboard ? I better go and buy a normal keyboard instead of this multimedia keyboard...

I am sure that it should have come with an installation CD with drivers etc on it. I would complain to the shop where you purchased it.

I would normally contact Gigabyte to find out  where the drivers could be downloaded from but it is the week end and there is no one available.

I'm using this keyboard with Win7 x64, very great and cheap, notebook-like keys  Cheesy
No driver needed and multimedia keys are working fine Smiley

It is obviously using Windows7 included drivers then. Even so I would still expect Gigabyte to supply a set of drivers for it though.
