If only AMD would pull their corporate fingers out and release BullDozer too. Grin

Ah DM,

AMD are probably just making sure they don't fall into the same trap that Intel did a few months back. I'd sooner have something that works properly but takes a little longer to come along.  Wink

As my old Mum often says: "All good things come to those who wait."

But I bet these processors are like London buses.... we'll be waiting for ages for them to come along, then loads will come at the same time and we will all get confused as to which one we should be getting. Oh well, such is life!

At least with the new 9 Series motherboards coming along now, we can choose that and get ready for a CPU upgrade in a little while. That at least will spread the cost out for some of us!  Grin

Yes thta is at least a bonus if done like that. Not something that is normally possible on the Intel platform mores the pity.

I have posted a new article regarding the Bulldozer processors here: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,5558.msg44809.html#msg44809
It seems as if we will have to wait until September, at the earliest for these new chips.  Cry

Just curious. I'm waiting for AMD Vishera CPUs and planned to buy GA-990FXA-UD7. In fact, I have a problem with that now. I've read somewhere that this motherboard is discontinued. Is it true? Should I wait for motherboards with new AMD 10-series chipsets?
