Thanks for the info Dark Mantis The first price was a rip off !! I guess most people are using the Revo
card for OS & raid add on for storage. An area I've not been involved with. Just prefer single removable drive & USB
storage. Quieter & less wear on drives.

Would be handy to have a similiar card that was wired to drive bay & had  plug in drives  giving you the option
to swop drives. Now have to find out about IBIS !!!

Actually that is one more benefit to having the Revo as it is absolutely silent and no heat at all! That may not be what you buy them for but it is a nice bonus.
