Just got my Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 and i can't get it to find my harddrives.
Have bought it as a demo, no cables, cd and so on.

Tried to install it yesterday, but it cant find my harddrives. It says that it need mass storage driver, tried to download all most all of the drivers from the driver page, and put it on a usb stik and non of them worked..

Have i done something wrong?

Open BIOS
Select default settings
Select your first boot device (DVD or USB for OS installation)
F10 and enter

TAB during post start up.
Are your HDD being seen?
Are your HDD powering on?
Are your HDD now being found during the install process?

Hi

I would suggest doing the following first and please do exactly as instructed.

The next thing to try is to clear the CMOS.

Remove the power cable from the mains supply and then press the power switch on the case for a few seconds just to drain any residual energy in the PSU capacitors.

Once done remove the motherboard battery for at least one hour before replacing it.

Next plug back into the mains supply and boot.

You will now need to enter the BIOS by pressing DEL and load Optimised BIOS Defaults.

Make any other changes to the BIOS settings to suit your self like disabling the floppy drive, disabling the full screen logo and making the HDD the primary boot device and then press F10 to save and exit.

You will need to make sure that Legacy USB devices and storage are enabled in the BIOS.
