GA-990FXA-UD7 RAID0 SATA III PROBLEM

hi all,
i need help.
i have :
990fxa-ud7 with F5 bios.
2x agility 3 60GB in raid0

when i disable in bios raid5 option,
my sata connector work in sata 2 mode 3gb/s (raid0 ATTO read/write 500mb/s about)

when i enable raid5 option, windows goes in BSOD
if i reinstall windows with raid5 bios option, same problem BSOD.

if i use one ssd in achi mode, it work in sata3(one SSD ATTO read/write 500mb/s about)

any idea for resolve it? now i stay with raid0 in sata2 mode with the option raid5 disabled.

i use last firmware, last driver and last bios! Q_Q

PS:

i want raid 0 sata 3 and not raid 5 ...
if i enable raid5 support from bios the controller work in sata3.
if i disable raid5 support from bios the controller work in sata2.

but if i enable raid5 support, windows goes in BSOD!!

I know that with sata 3 ports and ssd's in raid isnt a fully supported option on most ssd's so far. You might want to post in the ssd forum and see if anyone has come up with a fix yet for the sata 3 ports.

It isnt the motherboard if that is what you are thinking. I have been looking into getting ssd drives for a raid 0 config but it isnt supported yet in the ssd firmware and that was about 2 weeks ago i was studying it. I use regular hard drives in a raid 0 config for the speed and wont go to ssd until they support raid 0 on the sata 3 ports.

Goolge it you may find some help i see one person that was able to do it  though not sure it is reliable.

Sorry but my ssds with asrock mb work good in sata3 and raid0... this is a mb problem.
AND if i use marvell controller raid0, ssds work good in sata3 mode.

Then the best thing to do is open a support tickett with gigabyte and see what they have to say they might have a beta bios that addresses the problem or might be able to tell you if they are working on one. I saw where in a different forum that they had one working with a asrock though it was different ssd's i think.

Have you tried using the F6e BIOS found here: http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3880&dl=1#bios to see if that helps?

Hi again,

I'm not sure why you're having this issue and sadly I only have the UD5 not the UD7 so I can't compare like for like.

I did go through setting up a RAID0 Array on the GA-990FXA-UD5 in my living review here: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,5704.msg45816.html#msg45816 and it might be worth looking at to see if this may help pinpoint what the problem is.
