GTX 560TI Blackscreen with Crysis 2
« on: November 13, 2011, 07:00:29 pm »
Hello,

when I play Crysis 2 with DX11 enabled I get a Blackscreen after several minutes. My machine is not locking up, I can switch back to windows, but the game doesn't work anymore. Is the graphics card defective?

I've had exactly the same problem, you need to upgrade to the latest bios. Crysis 2 will work then, but you'll receive random blackscreens on the desktop... But at least not ingame, I hope Gigabyte will release another bios also fixing that issue.

When you say update to the latest BIOS are you referring to the graphics card or the motherboard ?

I was talking about the graphics card only. I think the latest BIOS changes the voltage to 1,037 (thats what GPU- Z shows) however according to other websites and users at least 1,050 or even 1,062 are needed.
