GA-G41MT-S2P (Aux In) ?
« on: November 16, 2011, 01:44:07 am »
Hello i just brought this mobo for my core 2 duo, but i'm having problem with my capture card pci. well this capture card came with a audio patch cable (aux-out), because if you don't use that cable the audio from games or tv show starts to get out of sync. So i can't find any aux-in or cd-in in this motherboard. How can i use that cable? :S thos mobo is so that bad? they didn't came with that aux-in ?

Hi claws88, ;)

Ahum, I am not sure but in general :

1. mic is typically mono vs line is stereo
2. impedence of mic is lower vs line

By exemple (This is not applicable to your motherboard necessarily), the:
mic.is 600ohm/2.5mv    (it is possible to use with preamp)
line-in is 75ohm/150mv

Your motherboard have a 3 x audio jacks (Line In/Line Out/Microphone)
Is it possible to plug your cable into the Line-in?
Have you tried it?
Maybe with add this : http://www.cablestogo.com/product-images/40426/200/40426a.jpg

Hi

I would suggest using the "line in" for your connection from your capture card to the onboard audio. ;)
