Hi friends,  Wink

As I take nothing for granted.
As I do not know what you know of research on the Internet.
I thought to write an article on the subject of research resources on the forum or on Gigabyte web site, like http://www.gigabyte.com.

I will develop this issue step by step.

Step-001
==========
Firstly, there is in the home menu, the Search tab. (Pic001_Giga-byte.co.uk_index.JPG)

I add a picture.

Do not forgot, I construct this article...

I sincerely pray the administrators and moderators of the forum to be patient and indulgence of towards my work on this topic.
Otherwise email me a notice.

*** continuation of the article ***

When you click the mouse on the Search tab, you get Set Search Parameters Window (Pic002_Giga-byte.co.uk_Set Search Parameters.JPG)

I strongly suggest to always use the blue: Advanced search. It is at the bottom of the small window.
When you click the mouse on the Advanced search, you get Set Search Parameters Window (Pic003_Giga-byte.co.uk_Set Search Parameters.JPG)

In this last Windows, the use of options will be explained later.

I add a pictures.

Hi Friends,

Step-002
==========

An alternative way to do research on the forum is to use Google.
You go to the advanced search Google.
By exemple:
http://www.google.co.uk/advanced_search?q=+&hl=en&lr=&biw=1253&bih=464&site=webhp

In the new Windows, you add in this sub-section Need more tools?:
Search within a site or domain:
a URL site : forum.giga-byte.co.uk
Do not write http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk

And a minium Key word on Find web pages that have... sub-section:
(the keywords of your research topic)
By exemple :
How to Flash Bios

See the web links in green writing.
It gives you an idea of the (importance) source.

I suppose you obtain this :
forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=2441.0;wap2
in place of
http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=2441.0

Just remove :
;wap2 to obtain
http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=2441.0

I add a picture.
