Hi and welcome.

As autotech has already suggested a few more details might help to get a feeling for your system.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest drivers for your graphics card ?

Are you using the newest BIOS version on your motherboard and firmware version on your GPU ?

Hi *

I have the following system :
CPU AMD A8-3870K
RAM 8Gb Kingston KHX1600C9D3K2(4Gbx 2)
Motherboard GA-A75-UD4H
Video Card None
PSU Sirtec HP-650-G14C 650W
HDD WD Caviar black 750Gb

On it I have Windows 7- 64-bit operating system.

I have checked both DVI-D cable and Monitor on a laptop and it works great. When I plug in the DVI cable on the bother board it doesn't recognize it. It is working only after changing the Bios seting to allow DVI dual link. But then, the only resolution is 640 x 480

I have also upgraded all drivers to the latest one's...no luck

Can anyone help?

Sure sounds like a software problem i am sure you have downloaded and updated all bios, drivers, I dont own or havent messed with a FM1 board yet. So cant bve alot of help. Absic or Dark i am sure have tried that sockett so you are waiting on them to responde. You can also email tech support. Make sure ram is unganged mode, Bios is up to date and is this a new install of windows 7 if it isnt you can download driver sweeper and reinstall drivers might help.
