I appear to have killed my GA-EX58-UD3R. I need to find a board as a fill-in, just to get everything off the computer and mix one song. So what I have that IS working is an Intel 920 I7; 6 gb of DDR3; video card; drives and case. I also need a board with Firewire built-in.
What I am asking for is the name(s) of boards which were released around this time from Gigabyte so I have more chance of getting a replacement. Then I can start looking for a new CPU/board combo.
There is a pin broken in the CPU socket.
