Using the latest F8 bios compiled only 9 days ago on the 21/03/2012.
I get NO support for the unlocked i3570K. Roll Eyes

Limited to x38 multi. Huh Roll Eyes

Considering that this board has had ****Compatibility since F7**** cough.  Undecided and that ivy has been out for the best part of 10 days, this is really sad.  Cry

What? Gigabyte you want me to buy Z77?

Poor product, poor support. Angry

Me & Gigabyte, or as I like to call them now gigafail are done in future. Angry

How do you expect to get new customers if you cant even keep the old ones.

Yeah ticket was submitted 3 days ago and still no response. Great service.

Hi there and Fatman.

Firstly, this is the place to voice my concerns which are lets be honest valid and mesurable and warranted. As this is GIGABYTES offical UK Forum?Huh?
Its also visited by gigabyte staff and not just by the community. Who also said that I didnt contact GIGABYTE direct?
Secondly, you bet that a company like gigabyte should have concerns about their support for past customers. One unhappy customer = more than hundred.
Thirdly, instead of supporting me as a fellow customer for better support u jump down my neck. Hmmm. Do you think its too much to ask for support for a product?
Lastly, if you dont like this thread, dont read it.

its people like you, that bend over and sing along while the big cooperations give them two fingers.

Ok so you contacted support direct yes? What did they have to say regarding your concerns? Can you share that information here so that anyone else who may be having this problem can glean some useful info?

It is ok to voice your concern here of course! But the way you went about it does you no favour. I have seen others who have come on here and trapped off and the end result is no-body wants to help them. It's easy, be nice and people will be more than willing to help you.

I came onto your thread to try and help you, not jump down your neck. But instead I responded to your negative post.

I am sure most of us have at times had hardware issues regarding other manufacturers other than Gigabyte (yes I have had problems with Gigabyte stuff in the past) but we don't jump into their forums and run them down over it.

Don't be so negative my friend..........Life is too short and not worth the angst!  Grin

Fair comment is one thing but just shouting about things is another.  At least you should get your facts straight before shouting your mouth off. Why not just try asking for it to be fixed ?

Omfg gigafail. Ticket that asked for support in higher multi that prevented overclocking:-


"Hi,

Over clocking success depend on many factors such as CPU, CPU cooler, memory and bios setting.

We don’t guarantee system stability under over clocking mode.



On our side, we have over clock my Intel IB CPU 3570K with below setting:

Here is our system configuration:

Motherboard: P67A-UD4-B3.

Bios version: F8

CPU: Intel I5 3570K

Memory: Adata DDR3 1866 FSB 4GB (Dual channel)

OS: Window 7 64 bits + SP1



Test done:

Bios setting:

a. AT bios setup\CPU Clock Ratio --> 34 to 38X

b. BCLK/DMI/PEG Clock control --> Enabled

c. BCLK/DMI/PEG Frequency --> 104.5

d. SPD --> 18.66

e. At bios setup\Advanced CPU cores Features\ disable all energy saver.

--> CPU Enghanced Halt (C1E) -- Disabled.

--> C3/C6 State Support -- Disabled.

--> CPU Thermal Monitor -- Disabled.

--> CPU EIST Function -- Disabled.

f. Advanced Voltage Settings.

--> Multi-Step Load line -- Level 5

--> Load line Calibration -- Enabled.

--> CPU Vcore -- 1.2V

--> DRAM Voltage -- 1.5V

Save and exit.

Check under windows.

Question and suggestion:

1. Try to add CPU BCLK.

2. Note, the above test is base on our system configuration."

Same problem with higher P67 models, works, but 38X.

Gigabyte will not fix this problem, more P67 are EOL. Just hope for a UEFI Bios.
